Lillard Fly Fishing Expeditions
Lillard Fly Fishing Expeditions is an adventure education company specializing in wilderness fly fishing camps for adolescents. When it came time to switch from an older WordPress site, Oxbow Labs provided a modern and responsive website that presents organized and easily managed information about LFFE and their programs.
Custom Content Types
LFFE's fishing programs are the core of their business, so it was important to make program information easy to find, sort through, and update. Instead of building a generic "Page" for each program that takes time to build and configure, Oxbow Labs created a custom content type called "Program" that allows content editors to fill out unique information about the trip and builds a page that's consistent with all other programs.
These programs can easily be referenced, displayed, linked to, and searched for elsewhere on the site without needing to rewrite a program's information or redefine what it should look like.
Automated, Organized Page Content
When a page involves displaying a list of content, you shouldn't have to edit the page to include any new content. Using Drupal views, Oxbow Labs created a Blog page that sorts and adds new blog posts to the list automatically and can be filtered by associated programs. On another page you can search through a generated list of LFFE's programs and "Find Your Adventure".
